We take a short break here to observe these unique inhabitants before continuing our route.
Next, we stop for lunch in Midelt, known as "the apple city", before crossing the Tizi N'Talghamt pass into the breathtaking Ziz Valley, famous for its hidden oases and endless palm groves. Our journey continues to Erfoud, a town famed for its annual date festival and fossil workshops, offering a glimpse into the region's rich geological history.
Finally, we arrive at the magnificent Erg Chebbi, an expansive sea of golden sand dunes, where we settle in for the night in Merzouga, ready for an unforgettable desert experience.
