Morocco 7 Days Desert Tour from Agadir to Merzouga

On the first day of the 7 days tour from Agadir. Upon your arrival at Agadir airport, a member of our team will welcome you and then transfer you to your accommodation.

After breakfast and relaxing, we will depart to the city of Ouarzazate, or Hollywood of Africa as the people prefer to call it because of the famous movies that were filmed in its famous studios, passing by the Berber city of Taroudant. Continue our way to join the city of Taliouine, the valley of saffron. Continue our way to visit the small town of Taznakht, where you will visit a shop Berber carpet making, for which the city is very well known for Berber carpets making. Afterward, we will take a break in Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, the most beautiful Kasbah in Morocco (a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1987). Then a visit to Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate. Overnight stay at the riad or hotel in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast in Ouarzazate, we'll depart toward the Draa Valley where you can see one of the longest rivers in Morocco. On the way we make some stops to take pictures and enjoy the view of the spectacular kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the road as well as the beauties of the Draa valley. You'll have some free time for lunch in Nkob or Alnif, and then, after two hours of driving, we'll reach the wonderful Sahara Desert. "Desert of golden sand dunes". Here you will ride your camels into a magical world through the sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi. With a panoramic view of the unique sunset of the Sahara. To finally get to our camp in a relaxing mood. You will have a delicious and authentic Berber (Amazigh) dinner in the heart of the desert. And a night gathering around the fire with Berber music under an endless starry sky.

After breakfast, our wonderful desert excursion will start by exploring the surrounding areas of the marvel Erg Chebbi. We will drive off-road to visit the nomadic families, who are living around the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. It will be a chance to see their lifestyle. Also, how they could survive in the dry Sahara Desert by having a cup of mint tea with them. Then, from there to M'Fis mines. It is located on a high plateau that has a wonderful panoramic view of Erg Chebbi and the desert landscape. Afterward, we will head to Khamlia village (Gnaoua village). The people of this small village originated in Black Africa, having a close and long-standing relationship with the Sahara. Their ancestors were brought from central and west Africa. Through the Sahara Desert, in caravans that arrived in the southeastern part of Morocco. We will get to know more about them and enjoy their traditional music. After enjoying the traditional Gnaoua music, we will have a delicious lunch, which is Berber pizza. After that, we will drive back to your hotel/riad in Merzouga.

Today, after breakfast, we will start the trip to Dades Valley. Our first stop will be Rissani to visit its traditional market considered to be the largest in the whole of Southern Morocco. Then stop in Erfoud; It is one of the oldest known sites, where you can find precious and unique fossils. Afterward, we will continue our way to Touroug then to Tinjdad and you will have time for lunch in one of the local restaurants in Touroug or Tinjdad. Then, we will continue towards our unique place which is the Todra Gorges. It's the highest and narrowest spectacular gorges in Morocco; 300 meters high and at their most narrow, are merely 20 meters apart. It is also recognized around the world as one of the most spectacular canyons. After a short walk around the immense cliffs and enjoying the amazing landscapes, we will drive to the Dades Valley, where you will enjoy the night with an authentic dinner in a riad/hotel.

Today, we'll leave Dades gorges towards Agadir. However, before you head over to Agadir, you'll explore the best of Dades valley. Then you'll be traveling through the road of Thousand Kasbahs a spectacular drive winding through stunning desert landscapes, villages, and palm groves through the Dades Valley between the Atlas Mountains and Anti- Atlas Mountain range. The drive is spectacular, with hundreds of Kasbahs lining the route, winding through stunning desert landscapes, villages, palm groves, and the expansive Jebel Sarhro lunar scape to the south. The touristic route is mostly asphalted offering a varied and impressive landscape on the kasbahs. The journey offers an exhilarating driving experience, with superb views. These proud monuments to Berber art are unique in the world. Then we will have a break to visit Kalaat M'Gouna (Valley of Roses) in this amazing place, you'll be able to purchase the products of rose, every year a rose festival is held in May. We continue the way to visit Amridil Kasbah in Skoura. Then, we continue to travel through Taznakht, Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou, and Taliouine to Agadir. We will stop for Ait Benhaddou Kasbah which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the large and most known place of all Moroccan kasbahs due to its appearance in several Hollywood blockbusters. By the evening, you'll be dropped off in your accommodation in Agadir.
