Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Roses Valley - Dades Valley

The first journey of the 6 days tour from Marrakech to Fes begins as we leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N'Tichka pass, which stands at an altitude of 2,260 meters. Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, this desert tour continues a short distance to Tinghir and the very different Todra Gorges where you can take a short walk to appreciate the steep sides of the gorge and the narrow expanse of sky above. From there, we will head to the Erg Chebbi dunes, passing through Tinjdad, the Oasis of Tafilalet near Erfoud, which is famous for its Date Festival, and Rissani, the seat of the Alaouite family, the current royal family of Morocco.

Between Tinjdad and Erfoud, you have the opportunity to visit and go down into the fascinating underground water channels deep below the earth, always cool and preventing the evaporation of this source of irrigation. In Erfoud itself, we can stop to see the workings of thousands of fossils made into all sorts of artifacts.

Lunch will be served in a Berber village along the way. Afterward, we will continue our journey till we reach Erg Chebbi, an extensive sea of sand. Here, you will join the caravan of camel trek across the high sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. Your local guides (camels-man) will show you how to mount and dismount and other handy camel-related safety tips.

Afterward, you will enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset from a high dune before riding the camels to your desert camp for the night. Day 3: Merzouga Desert Tour: Visit Nomads - M'Fis Mines - Khamlia Village

After waking up early, you'll have the chance to enjoy the beautiful view of the sunrise, which is the amazing part of the day in the desert. Following this, you will return to the desert camp where you can take a shower and savor a delicious breakfast.

After breakfast, our desert excursion will begin as we explore the Erg Chebbi region. We will drive off-road to visit the nomadic families living around the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, giving you a chance to see their unique lifestyle and learn how they survive in the dry Sahara Desert. We'll share a cup of mint tea with them. A tip is recommended (starting from 10€).

Next, we will drive to the M'Fis mines, which are located on a high plateau that offers a fantastic panoramic view of Erg Chebbi and the surrounding desert landscape. After that, we will head to Khamlia Village, also known as Gnaoua Village. The inhabitants of this small village originated in Black Africa and share a long-standing relationship with the Sahara, as their ancestors were brought from Central and West Africa through caravans that traversed the desert to southeastern Morocco.

During our visit, you'll learn more about their culture and enjoy their traditional music. After immersing yourself in the sounds of Gnaoua music, it's time to have a delicious lunch which is Berber pizza.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Ziz Valley - Midelt

After breakfast, we will leave the immense desert and travel toward Midelt, passing through the towns of Rissani and Erfoud. If our visit of Rissani coincides with one of the local markets, which take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, you will have the chance to explore the souk largest market in the region. Here, we can walk through the original souk, where we'll find a variety of vegetables, spices, and dates, as well as observe the vibrant interactions among the hooded men and veiled women.

Your journey will then continue to Errachidia, where you will travel through the impressive Ziz Valley near Er-Rich city. There will be a stop to enjoy the panoramic views of the Ziz Canyon before heading to Midelt, where we will spend the night.

The next stop on our journey will be the city of Ifrane, located on the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas at a high of 1,630 meters above sea level. With its broad avenues, urban development, beautiful gardens, and green spaces, Ifrane looks like a Swiss town, earning it the nickname "Moroccan Switzerland". It also features an important ski resort, Michlifen.

After exploring Ifrane, we will continue our journey to Fes. We expect to arrive in Fes around 6 PM.

Today is dedicated to exploring the important sightseeing and monuments of Fez, one of the oldest cultural and spiritual cities in the world. Founded in 790 A.D. by Moulay Idriss II, Fez is rich with many fantastic interesting sites. You will be accompanied by a local guide as you visit key attractions, including Al-Qarawiyyin University (the world's first established university), Bou Inania Madrasa (theological college), the Jewish District (Mellah), plazas, neighborhoods of Andalusians, potters, museums, traditional Souks (markets), the amazing Tanneries, and Bab Boujloud.
