The Essaouira day trip from Marrakech starts at approximately 08:00 AM with a driver from our team. You will be picked up directly from your accommodation in Marrakech (if accessible by car) or at our meeting point near the Jamma El Fna. Please prepare for an exciting full day ahead. Essaouira is located 191 km from Marrakech, and this drive takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes under normal traffic conditions. Along the way, you will enjoy the unique landscapes of the surrounding countryside that are going to leave you astonished.
During the Essaouira day trip from Marrakech, we will pass through local villages and soak in the natural beauty of the rural areas. We will make a stop in Ounagha, a region known for its Argan trees, where you can observe goats feeding from the branches. You will also have the opportunity to visit the "Argan Oil Women Cooperative" to learn about the production process of this prized oil. This is just the beginning of the trip; the best is yet to come.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, you will notice its favorable microclimate, which results in mild winters and cool summers.
