The day trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls starts at approximately 08:00 AM with a guide/driver from our team. You will be picked up directly from your accommodation in Marrakech (if accessible by car) or at our meeting point near the Jamma El Fna, before heading to the Atlas Mountains and the Ouzoud Waterfalls, 110 meters high, the highest in North Africa and among the most impressive attractions that Morocco has to offer for relaxation away from city noise.
Located 165 km northeast of Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains, the falls are one of the region's most spectacular natural spots. Along the way, you can admire charming Berber villages, where traditional lifestyles are still followed.
Upon arrival at the waterfalls, your exploration will start from the top and move downward, with several stops along the way to capture beautiful views from different angles. Next, you will have the chance to cross the river on a hand-powered barge, which will bring you to the bottom of the falls.
Afterward, enjoy a lunch break at one of the nearby restaurants offering terraces with wonderful views of the waterfalls. Later, you'll take a short walk around the valley that leads back to the top of the falls, where you may catch a glimpse of the friendly local monkeys that are used to the presence of people.
