Day 2: Full-Day Trip in Marrakech: Explore the City of Marrakech

Today, after enjoying breakfast, our local guide will meet you at your accommodation in Marrakech. He will accompany you as you explore the famous city, known as the "Red City of Morocco". This city has served as an important stop for traders and travelers for many centuries and is considered the "southern pearl" of Morocco, as well as the "second oldest imperial city".

Our itinerary includes visiting the most significant historical and cultural sites, including the Saadian Tombs, the stunning Palaces of El Bahia and El Badi, the Ben Youssef Quranic School (Ben Youssef Madrasa), and the historic Koutoubia Mosque, which features a 77-meter-high minaret that dominates the center of Marrakech. As well as the Menara Gardens and Jardin Majorelle, which require a booking in advance via the official website (it's better to book the tickets one to two days before the visit date).

Next, you can head to Jamaa El-Fna, one of the city's main attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This famous square is a central cultural hub in Marrakech. You can relax at various cafés surrounding the square and enjoy the lively atmosphere, which is filled with magicians, storytellers, snake charmers, and street food vendors. Day 3: Marrakech - Kasbah Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley

Today, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and drive towards Ouarzazate via the Tizi N'Tichka pass, which reaches an elevation of 2,260 meters in the High Atlas Mountains. As we travel through Berber villages, you'll have the chance to enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way.

You'll also have the opportunity to learn about the process of producing argan oil from Berber women in their cooperative. Our first stop will be the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest Kasbah in Morocco. We will have lunch at the kasbah before continuing our journey to the Dades Valley, passing through Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa."

Along the route, we will follow the path of the One Thousand Kasbahs and make a stop at Kalaat Mgouna, famous for its annual rose festival held in May.

We will spend the night in the heart of the Dades Gorges, either in a local riad or hotel, where dinner and breakfast will be provided.

Day 4: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorge - Merzouga dunes - Camel Trekking

After enjoying breakfast at the riad/hotel, we will drive through the valley to observe the rock formation known as "the monkey toes". Once we leave the Dades Valley and head towards Tinghir and the Todra Valley, you will enjoy the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages that overlook the valley.

Upon our arrival at the gorge, you can take a walk under the impressive 300-meter-high red cliffs, a favorite spot for many rock climbers. Between Tinjdad and Erfoud, you have the opportunity to visit and go down into the fascinating underground water channels deep below the earth, always cool and preventing the evaporation of this source of irrigation. In Erfoud itself, we can stop to see the workings of thousands of fossils made into all sorts of artifacts.

Lunch will be served in a Berber village along the way. Afterward, we will continue our journey till we reach Erg Chebbi, an extensive sea of sand. Here, you will join the caravan of camel trek across the high sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. Your local guides (camels-man) will show you how to mount and dismount and other handy camel-related safety tips.

Afterward, you will enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset from a high dune before riding the camels to your desert camp for the night. After a delicious dinner, time to listen to Berber music played by local nomads under the stars. If you love dancing, feel free to join in and dance to the rhythms of the music. Day 5: Merzouga Desert Tour: Visit Nomads - M'Fis Mines - Khamlia Village

After waking up early, you'll have the chance to enjoy the beautiful view of the sunrise, which is the amazing part of the day in the desert. Following this, you will return to the desert camp where you can take a shower and savor a delicious breakfast.

After breakfast, our desert excursion will begin as we explore the Erg Chebbi region. We will drive off-road to visit the nomadic families living around the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, giving you a chance to see their unique lifestyle and learn how they survive in the dry Sahara Desert. We'll share a cup of mint tea with them. A tip is recommended (starting from 10€).

Next, we will drive to the M'Fis mines, which are located on a high plateau that offers a fantastic panoramic view of Erg Chebbi and the surrounding desert landscape. After that, we will head to Khamlia Village, also known as Gnaoua Village. The inhabitants of this small village originated in Black Africa and share a long-standing relationship with the Sahara, as their ancestors were brought from Central and West Africa through caravans that traversed the desert to southeastern Morocco.

During our visit, you'll learn more about their culture and enjoy their traditional music. After immersing yourself in the sounds of Gnaoua music, it's time to have a delicious lunch which is Berber pizza. Later, we will visit Lake Dayet Sarji, which forms in the springtime and attracts pink flamingos and other wildlife.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Ziz Valley - Michlifen - Ifrane - Fes

In the morning, after enjoying your breakfast and shower at the local guesthouse, we will drive to Fes via Errachidia. Along the way, we will pass through the magnificent view of Ziz Valley, which is rich with thousands of palm trees, and pass the Tizi N'Talghamt to Midelt. We will make a stop in Zaida to savor a barbecue and refresh ourselves with a cup of mint tea.

Next, we will continue to Michlifen, a mountain town in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we will stop to see the Barbary macaques/apes in the cedar forest. Afterward, we will continue to Ifrane, often called the "French Village" or the "Switzerland of Morocco". Before arriving at your accommodation in Fes, we will stop for a photo opportunity or drink. Finally, you will spend the night at a hotel or riad in Fes.

Day 7: Fes city tour accompanied by a local guide

After breakfast, you will meet our local guide in Fes for a full-day tour. Fes is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the oldest imperial cities in Morocco, founded in 808 as the first political, religious, and cultural capital.

Our tour will begin at the Golden Doors of the Royal Palace. Afterward, we will head to a viewpoint where you can admire the impressive walls that surround the Old Medina (Fes El-Bali). Then, we'll continue on foot through the Medina, allowing you to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and experience hundreds of feelings revolted of this historic area.

As we explore, you will visit mosques, madrassas, and various religious places before reaching the district of the Tanners. Please note that lunch during your walking tour is not included in the price (lunch will be at a typical Moroccan restaurant in the old Medina). After breakfast at your hotel or riad in Fes, our journey will take us to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, an open-air museum, and a fascinating glimpse into Morocco's ancient history. While Volubilis may not be as grand as other Roman sites along the Mediterranean, it offers a relaxed and insightful way to visualize a significant part of Moroccan heritage. We will also stop in Meknes, which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail and known as "The Moroccan Versailles".

We will then continue through the scenic Rif Mountains, passing lush agricultural hills, on our way to Chefchaouen. Known worldwide for its vibrant blue-washed buildings, Chefchaouen is a favorite destination for both locals and tourists, especially during the warmer summer months.

Day 9: Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca

Today, we will rise early to snap photos of the people-less streets before exploring the gorgeous town of Chefchaouen, the most famous tourist attraction in Morocco. Much calmer and more relaxing than Fes, Chefchaouen is renowned worldwide and is a favorite destination for both tourists and Moroccans, especially during the hot summer months. The town is famous for its animate blue-washed houses that bring the streets to life.

Our journey will take us through Rabat, the old imperial capital known for its domes, minarets, sweeping terraces, wide avenues, and green spaces. As Morocco's capital, Rabat is home to the country's most important museum, the Royal Palace, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, along with several other historical attractions. While in Rabat, we will visit the Oudaias Kasbah, admire Hassan Tower, explore the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and wander through the Medina.

Afterward, we will drive to Casablanca. In Casablanca, you can visit the Mosque of Hassan II, one of the biggest and most beautiful mosques in the world.
