Camel Trek - Sunset - Sandboarding - Night in desert camp

The first night of this 2 nights Merzouga camel trip begins in the evening, about two and a half hours before sunset. You will ride camels near the sand dunes to witness a marvelous sunset in the middle of the Sahara Desert. You will also have the chance to try sandboarding. Make sure to bring your camera because you'll want to capture lots of photos and videos of the stunning golden sand dunes and document your camel trek experience.

After sunset, you will ride camels to the desert camp where you will spend the night. Upon arrival, you can relax and enjoy a glass of traditional Moroccan mint tea. You'll then have free time to explore the nearby dunes on foot and take in the breathtaking desert scenery. Later, a delicious dinner will be served at the desert camp, followed by live Berber music played by local nomads around the campfire under the stars. The journey starts with a visit to the nomads who still live in traditional Berber tents in the heart of the Sahara. You'll have the chance to see their way of life and share a cup of tea with them. After that, we will drive to the M'Fis mines to discover how locals work there.

Later, we'll visit the village of Khamlia, home to the Gnaoua people. You'll experience their unique music and way of life firsthand, and enjoy a traditional lunch with them. Afterward, we return to Merzouga/Erg Chebbi and prepare to head back to the desert camp for your second night under the stars. You will begin by meeting the camels at the camel parking area, then ride to the desert camp, stopping along the way to enjoy the sunset and try sandboarding. Enjoy the night, which will be more beautiful than the first.

The next morning, after enjoying an incredible sunrise, you will return to the camp for breakfast and a refreshing shower.
