Join us on this overnight camel trek in Merzouga and enjoy a night at a desert camp. This overnight camel trekking trip begins in the evening, approximately two and a half hours before sunset. You will ride camels near the sand dunes to witness a marvelous sunset in the heart of the Sahara Desert, and you will also have the opportunity to try sandboarding. Be sure to bring a nice camera, as you will want to capture stunning photos and videos of the amazing Erg Chebbi golden sand dunes and document your desert adventure.
Afterward, you will continue your camel ride to the desert camp where you will spend the night, welcomed with a cup of traditional Moroccan mint tea. A staff member will greet you at the camp and show you to your tent. You will also have free time to explore the nearby dunes on foot and enjoy the striking landscape. Later, a delicious dinner will be provided, followed by a night of Berber music performed by local nomads around a campfire under the stars. If you enjoy dancing, you can even join in before going to your tent for the night.
Do not miss the one-of-a-kind desert sunrise the next morning. After a restful night under a star-studded sky, you will find it easy to wake early and marvel at an incredible sunrise over the uniquely shaped sand mounds.
